About Me
My name is Guk and I am currently a student at John Cabot University in Rome and the founder and CEO of Mobatar S.r.l., a mobile advertising company that pays people to receive advertising text messages on their mobile phones.
Since age of 14 I became passionate about the Internet. At the age of 16, I was able to earn my first $200 from the Internet. In fact, I entered in a layout contest and miraculously won the contest. After winning the contest I was pondering why these people needed all these layouts designed and then I realized that I would never succeed in life by working for someone else. Therefore, from that moment I decided that I should be on the other side of the fence if I ever wanted to become someone important.
So, since then I was the founder of MyWackoSpace, Dundoo, OnlineFlashGames, Contactbles, Few Facebook Apps, FreePoverty, and Mobatar. Unfortunately, the first two websites and the facebook apps were sold to an American investor in late 2007. However, I was able to raise enough capital to start my own company called Mobatar S.r.l. which is involved in many web services and especially in the mobile advertising market.
I am also an investor. In fact, once in a while I dedicate some of my free time to day trade, but mostly due to time constraints I devote most of my time to my start-up Mobatar and long term investments. I mainly invest in stocks, but I would love to be able to invest in actual start-ups as venture capitalists since my dream would be to become a venture capitalist.
