Since I moved to a new house, I bought some furniture from Ikea…since they are known to have some good quality furniture at affordable prices. Indeed, the prices are very affordable and its furniture is very well designed. But damn…have you tried building a bed from Ikea (I think it’s called Malcom). It took me 2-3 hours just to build the bed. Call me stupid, but their instructions are not so good since I had to detach few pieces after I already implemented them since the positioning was a bit wrong. I even purchased and mounted the desk Galant, and that took another 2-3 hours.
I really like Ikea, but I believe that they can improve so much better if they can produce better manuals (especially for dummies like me) and better packaging. Can’t they make it like those from Apple? What’s so hard for making a simple package design? If it’s too expensive, then they should at least make some parts of the boxes transparent. This way the person can make sure that the color is right and it’s the right furniture by having a look inside.

Maybe I should go work for Ikea…but hell I would never work as the COO for that company. Can you imagine how hard that job might be?

I’ll use this blog to share my thoughts and to complain about the world in general. I read somewhere that people mostly use the Internet to complain about something or argue with other people about non-sense. And I’ll exactly do this. What else could I write about in the blog then?

Anyway, it’s my first time actually using WordPress.com to blog. And I really like how they made the online version of it. I have to admit that they have actually produced a great product, and I hope they keep improving the online version by adding nicer templates and more widgets. One small problem that I faced using WordPress is that sometimes it takes ages to load a page. Other than that, everything is perfect. Well done WordPress!
